Spreading Corience in Italy

The Joint Meeting hosted a variety of outstanding sessions covering topics including the hybrid approach to the treatment of congenital heart disease and psychosocial support for patients.

Prof. Szatmári, past president of the Association for European Paediatric Cardiology (AEPC) and member of the Corience Advisory Board emphasised the value and significance of the information and networking provided through Corience and encouraged the active participation of European medical associations.

Congress members from all over the world took the opportunity to browse the Corience website and the feedback on the website and other aspects of the project was overwhelmingly positive. The international audience stressed the importance of working together with patients and parents and were keen to establish websites like Corience in their countries.
